PhsycologyPurpose
Psychologists study mental processes and the human behavior. They do this by observing, interpreting, and recording how people and other animals relate to one another and the environment. Psychologists often look for patterns that will help them understand and predict behavior using scientific methods, principles, or procedure to test their ideas.EducationA Master's or Doctoral degree are needed to practice most Psychology. These degrees require seven years of graduate study to earn. The Doctoral degree requires five years while the Master's requires 2 years. You also need a license to practice Psychology.Wages and EmploymentEmployment of psychologists is expected to grow as fast as average. The probability of employment for psychologists is high if they a Doctoral degree from a leading university. The average annual wages for clinical, counseling, and school psychologists was $64, 140 during the year of 2008.My opinionI might want to do this job when i get older because there is a good wage and salary and because it sounds very interesting. I think it would be very interesting to work as a psychologist because you get to know better of how you work and how to get yourself to feel very good. I think it would also be fun because i know i would be helping other people feel better and good about themselves, too!
